“Know-how meets business” – that will be the motto once again, when from 13 – 15 March 2012 the International Powder and Bulk Solids Industry comes together for the third edition of the show. The new venue for the exhibition with supporting conference is the six-million metropolis Ahmedabad, the economic centre of Gujarat federal state. And not only the location is conducive to business, the programme also offers a great deal of scope for know-how transfer, networking and business deals as never before.
The first two Bulk Solids India events went well. With valuable experience on board, the organizers, NürnbergMesse with Member of the Management Board, Petra Wolf, and Vogel Business Media with publisher Gerd Kielburger, can announce a further development for the event in its third edition. “Powder & Bulk Solids India in Ahmedabad will provide an even more accurate reflection of the entire mechanical process technology market and reach the relevant target groups more effectively than ever before”, Wolf reveals about the optimized trade fair concept. The registrations prove that she is right. Worldwide leading companies such as FLSmidth, Rembe, Röchling, VEGA India and ThyssenKrupp have confirmed their participation for 2012. Kielburger also has news: “The supporting conference has become even more specific, so that every visitor at Powder & Bulk Solids India 2012 will find exactly the continuation training they are looking for.”
A new feature of the supporting trade conference is the division into two theme blocks: “From port to plant. Challenges in energy production” with lectures for the Bulk Solids Industry along with “Powders & granulates in chemicals and plastic production – innovative concepts for optimum results” with the latest developments from the Powder Sector. The conference will be held once again in 2012 under the chairmanship of the distinguished expert on Powder & Bulk, Dr. Vijay K. Agarwal, from the Indian Institute of Technology.
Another new feature: the number of workshops at the trade conference has been doubled. The themes are among others: “Pneumatic conveying”, “Explosion protection”, “Particle Segregation Prevention” and “Hopper & Silo Design”. The certified workshops held by and with Industrial heavyweights such as FLSmidth, Jenike & Johanson or Ind-Ex not only offer valuable practical information, but also plenty of opportunity for intensive networking with International experts.
Here visitors can also register with immediate effect. Registration also means free admission to the trade fair with the new “Exhibitors’ Forum”. The costs of the conference and the workshops are listed on the event’s website.
The numerous sights and attractions make the city an all-round successful trade fair destination. The royal fortress Bhadra Fort with its palaces and gardens is a magnificent sight. And at the gates to the city lies the famous Gandhi Ashram, where “Bapu” not only lived but also started his “Salt march”. Detailed information is available at: www.wikitravel.org/en/Ahmedabad
